Delivery & Returns

Shipping to UK & Ireland

The majority of orders are dispatched by Royal Mail, 2nd class Signed For delivery. Once we have dispatched your order we will email you with your unique Signed For ID which will enable you to trace your package via the distribution centre. Deliveries usually take no more than 2-3 working days to arrive from day of dispatch, (within the UK) and we endeavour to dispatch your products within 24 hours of receiving your order. For orders outside the UK we will give you a revised delivery time and should it apply any additional postage fees. Our delivery services may be affected during periods of adverse weather conditions. We will of course keep you up to date with any delivery issues and will advise you before dispatch a revised time scale for receipt.

We charge a flat postage and packaging fee of £3.50 on all orders under £30.00. DELIVERY IS FREE TO UK ADDRESSES WHEN AN ONLINE ORDER IS OVER £30.

As the majority of orders are sent Signed For, we recommend that you use a convenient daytime delivery address to avoid collection from your local Royal Mail sorting office.

Shipping to an Overseas Destination

We follow the Royal Mail International postage service for customers buying from overseas. All overseas orders are sent by International letter and parcel services. Any additional delivery costs will depend on the total weight of your packaging. Should you like to know how much your order weighs and any additional costs associated to shipping prior to placing the order please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing and we will inform you as quickly as possible.

Non-Faulty Returns

We understand that deciding whether a garment is right for you, your child or as a gift is difficult without trying it on. We have done everything we can to supply you with all the information and always welcome enquiries by phone or message before you go ahead with a purchase. We appreciate that garments don’t always fit as you expect or look as you had wanted it to. This is why we offer you a full refund or free exchange for unworn items (including Sale items) returned within 14 working days of delivery in their original packaging. We recommend that you use 2nd class Signed For mail to send items back to us as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage in transit. On receipt of your return Proper Clobber will check the garment and Refund the purchase within 24 hours. Unfortunately postage will not be refunded, unless returned within the ‘Cooling Off Period’ (please see below).

Faulty Returns

Proper Clobber takes care in ensuring that the brands stocked on this website are of the highest quality standards. In the unlikely event that a product has a manufacturing defect or has been shop soiled, please notify us on +44(0)7743329090 as we may require you to send a photograph of the fault. We will advise you how we will be resolving the issue. Should the garment need to be returned it has to be done within 14 days from purchase. Proper Clobber undertakes no warranty to refund items outside of a reasonable time period or where product return is without a clear manufacturing defect. Items that are not deemed faulty will be returned back to you.

Returns Process

If you wish to return an item, please contact Morag by email or telephone +44(0)7743329090 to raise a returns case. You may be asked to photograph the fault and email the image to Proper Clobber for review, this image will then be forwarded to our suppliers. On the occasion our suppliers ask to have the faulty item back we will ask you to return the faulty garment by Royal Mail 2nd class and the carriage fee  will be refunded on receipt. We will acknowledge your Returns Request within 48 hours of receiving it.

The ‘Cooling Off Period’

If you choose to return your purchase within 7 days of receipt of goods then you are entitled to a full refund for the cost of your purchase as well as the dispatch postage.

The Contract between Us & You

Once you have successfully completed your online order you will receive an acknowledgment email from confirming your order and delivery details. At the point you receive this email a contract is then formed between Us and You.
